CTET Primary Level (Class I to V) | Eligibility criteria for CTET Primary Level (Class I to V) for the July 2024 session: 1. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and completion or enrollment in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. 2. Alternatively, Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and completion or enrollment in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, following the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002. 3. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and completion or enrollment in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). 4. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and completion or enrollment in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). |
CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) | Eligibility criteria for CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) for the July 2024 session: 1. Graduation and completion or enrollment in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. 2. Alternatively, candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation and completed or be enrolled in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). 3. Graduation with a minimum of 45% marks and completion or enrollment in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), following the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations. 4. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and completion or enrollment in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). 5. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and completion or enrollment in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. 6. Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and completion or enrollment in the final year of B.Ed. (Special Education). 7. Candidates who have qualified a B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE are eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Additionally, individuals pursuing teacher education courses recognized by the NCTE or the RCI are also qualified, as per specified guidelines. 8. Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and completion or enrollment in the final year of a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. |
How To Apply :- CBSE has announced the CTET exam for Paper I to V & VI to VIII for July 2024. Online application period: March 7th, 2023, to April 2nd, 2024. Limited exam centers are available in each city for this year’s exam. Candidates will view live information on available centers while filling out the form. Applicants are advised to apply early to secure their preferred exam center or city as slots are limited. Before applying, candidates must thoroughly read the notification for CTET July 2024. Ensure eligibility criteria are met and gather necessary documents including ID proofs, address details, etc. Prepare scanned copies of required documents such as photographs, signatures, and ID proofs for online submission. Review all details carefully before final submission, ensuring accuracy in every column. Payment of the application fee, if required, is necessary for completing the submission process. Failure to pay the required fee will result in incomplete form submission. After successful submission, candidates should print a copy of the final submitted form for their records. |
