Introduction: IIT Delhi, in collaboration with the Geological Survey of India (GSI), has introduced the country’s inaugural high-resolution ‘Indian Landslide Susceptibility Map.’ This comprehensive mapping initiative addresses the urgent need for a nationwide assessment of landslide risk, especially after severe monsoon-triggered landslides in 2023.
